What is Foodservice Redistribution?

Buying & Selling

Honor Foods operates dedicated teams of procurement specialists and sales professionals, strategically aligned to manage every aspect of the foodservice redistribution business.

Our buyers work directly with manufacturers to source the best vegetables, fruit, dairy, seafood, meats, prepared foods, and more. Our partner distributors then stock these products for delivery to restaurants, educational facilities, and government organizations. With expertise in dairy from Honor Foods and Sunny Morning, plus Protein category knowledge from R.W. Zant, our Team has your buying needs covered.

Our Sales Team works directly with our distributors to help them procure the right mix of products for their customers. We provide products, business insight, logistics support, and efficient delivery — which allows them to be agile and flexible with their business. We take on the job of storage and procurement so that our distributors can focus on their customers.

As a foodservice redistributor, speed and accuracy are paramount to our partners need to quickly supply their customers with high-quality products that are of the utmost freshness. Orders are picked efficiently with the latest state-of-the-art warehousing and inventory technologies. A fluid point of access to I-95, I-76, the Pennsylvania & NJ Turnpikes, and the four major bridges that serve Philadelphia’s surrounding regions is a significant asset to our operations. In our flagship facility at 5505 Tacony Street in Philadelphia, we have 33 loading docks that dramatically improve service levels and create much shorter wait times for pick-ups and deliveries.

As a Burris Logistics Company, we recently expanded our product portfolio featuring new vendors, more product categories, and additional foodservice industry segments. Our greatly expanded space has maximized our buying positions on the commodity markets. The reach of Burris Logistics warehouses and their fleet helps to expand our storage and redistribution capabilities in other geographic regions.
