Why You Should Choose Honor Foods
We are excited to announce that Honor Foods Philadelphia, a Burris Logistics company, has officially opened the doors to our new warehouse, and we are MAKING IT HAPPEN! It has been two months since we became operational, and the new building is a massive part of the new Honor Foods.
“Open for Business” takes on a whole new meaning for Honor Foods, Philadelphia, and our partners in Foodservice Distribution. Together, we faced dark times with Covid-19 shutting down our hard-working partners. But, as always, we were resilient.
We continued to build our new 5505 Tacony Street distribution center, knowing that our industry would be back and our partners would need us more than ever. When we opened our doors, it was apparent that we built more than a building. Our Team Members had more pep in their step and were visibly proud of the new office environment. The Philly sunrise shines new light on our 33 loading docks, and our partners instantly experienced easier access and shorter wait times. Easy access to I-95 and I-76 are significant perks, and the technology we have in the warehouse adds efficiencies.
As we grow and life resumes, expect more inventory across greater product categories. Our new size is directly connected to the strategies of our partners and vendors. Foodservice is an industry that supports our freedom and social culture. We know it will be back, and we will continue to grow with it.
Joe Adams, VP of Honor Foods, explains, “We are actively planning the expansion of our selling footprint and are moving towards growing our service areas into the Southeast part of the United States.
Our new footprint necessitates hiring new team members looking to start their career with a family-owned business. If you are interested in joining our team, click here.
