Elliott brings more than 20 years of experience in the food and food service industry, with a diverse background spanning sales, category management, operations, production, and executive leadership.
“We are very excited to have Elliott join our Team as the Vice President of Sales and Purchasing,” says JD Spangler, President of Honor Foods. “We look forward to leveraging his experience to further develop our Team, strengthen our partnerships, and create new opportunities for Honor Foods and the customers we serve.
Elliott began his career in Kansas, working in cattle harvest and fabrication, feedlots, and cow-calf operations before gaining hands-on experience in beef, pork, and case-ready production. He later joined Cargill, where he advanced from demand planning for major retailers to commodity sales, serving retailers and major distributors throughout the East Coast. His career continued to evolve into sales leadership and category management, followed by serving as Sales and Operations Director for a division of Holly Poultry in Baltimore, Maryland.
Elliott spent the last four years working for US Foods in multiple sales roles that included overseeing key market segments including healthcare, hospitality, education, national restaurant chains, hotels and casinos, as well as independent and regional restaurant concepts throughout the Greater Delaware Valley and Mid-Atlantic region. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Local Sales.
Throughout his career, Elliott has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams, fostering strong customer relationships, and delivering sustainable business growth. At Honor Foods, he will bring that same customer-focused approach to strengthening partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and creating lasting value for both distributors and suppliers.
“Honor Foods has a rich history in the world of redistribution; its legacy has stood the test of time,” says Elliott Ross. “I’m excited to be a part of this amazing chapter of growth and innovation as Honor Foods continues to expand its reaches across the country and beyond.”
