Dave’s Weekly Market Update for 04/25/25
Valuable insights on the latest market price changes for eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.
Eggs:
The egg market has remained stable for the last 2 weeks. I have been noticing breaking stock (used by further processors) rising slightly. Mediums went up .01 today. Could the market begin going up? Time shall tell.

Butter:
Butter dropped .01 for next week. I still expect it to remain in this narrow trading range until ice cream demand ramps up.
Cheese:
I had been saying that cheese was too high for this time of year and now we are seeing a correction. With markets being as fickle as they have been, who knows what will take place, but chances are we will be lowering prices again next week. At least the Barrels are finally lower than the blocks.
Cream and Cream Cheese:
I believe that heavy cream will drop maybe .02 qt next week, but I have not seen the final numbers. Due to lack of butter price movement, the cream cheese pricing has been steady for a bit.
