Eggs: The egg market remained steady this week and is “in balance”. We may see some uptick in the coming weeks as holiday baking begins on the wholesale level.

Read MoreEggs: The egg market fell slightly earlier in the week but seems to have leveled out at the moment. Inventories seem balanced after the opening of schools. We probably will remain around this level until holiday baking begins and we will probably see an uptick in the market.
Read MoreEggs: The egg market is fairly well balanced now that it has adjusted to the end of the vacation season and the opening of all the school systems, Urner Barry is saying that the “supplies are adequate”. Hopefully it stays stable for a bit.

Today’s market may be a telltale, if it goes up much we will see a very aggressive market next week. Schools will be opening soon and maybe the extreme heat is beginning to take its toll.
