Dave’s Weekly Market Update for 08/14/25
Valuable insights on the latest market price changes for eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.
Eggs:
Eggs dropped again this week but seem to have bottomed out. I would expect that we will see them rise early in September as the back-to-school usage kicks in. We did see some decreases in further processed eggs from Newberg egg.

Butter:
Butter has been weak and is dropping next week. If nothing changes, we will drop again next week. It is very unusual for butter to be dropping this time of year, as it is usually rising now.
Cheese:
The average rose again this week but there was a big drop today. I would venture to guess we will see more drops next week.
Cream and Cream Cheese:
With butter dropping, cream cheese is starting to drift downwards. I would expect more declines next week. It is looking like fluid cream will be dropping for the month of September, which will be a welcome relief for the end users.
We have many opportunities for all of you this week! Please look to see what will work for you and your customers!

We all thank you for your continued business and hope you have a safe and relaxing Summer weekend!
