Each week Honor Foods Dairy Specialist David Albert provides you with Dave’s Weekly Market Update, with some valuable insights on the most current market price changes on eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.

Eggs:

The egg market is fairly well balanced now that it has adjusted to the end of the vacation season and the opening of all the school systems, Urner Barry is saying that the “supplies are adequate”. Hopefully it stays stable for a bit.

Butter:

Butter has traded upwards with 41 loads of loads traded. It seems like the new trading range is between $2.65 and $2.75. There are still supply concerns even after the huge volumes that traded a few weeks ago. We ended up .08 for the week. 

Cheese:

Blocks fell on Friday and so far, seem to be trending back upwards. We did end up lower for the week based on the last week’s average . Barrels did rise slightly for the week.
