Eggs:
The egg market is relentlessly rising .05 a day. I think we will see cataclysmic drops in the next 2 weeks. Time will tell!
Weekly CME Cash Dairy Product Prices November 17, 2022
Butter:
Butter has rebounded from its big drop 2 weeks ago. The volume at the CME has been minimal. My guess is that within the next few weeks we will see a decline. It is really so hard to gauge in these times. Historical trends just do not seem to exist anymore. Challenging times to say the least.
Cheese:
Blocks continue to find strength and Barrels are beginning to decline. There is a big spread between the 2 and I feel that the Blocks will begin to moderate soon to close the gap. Not one load of Blocks traded this week and only 5 loads of Barrels.
Half Gallons of Byrne Half and Half:
We are still blowing these out at a very inexpensive price. If you can move this pack size, it is a great deal! They are packed 6/ 1/2 gallons per case and are UHT. They are dated with a best by date of 12/20 so there is plenty of life left.
