Each week Honor Foods Dairy Specialist David Albert provides you with Dave’s Weekly Market Update, with some valuable insights on the most current market price changes on eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.

Eggs:

The egg market remained stable this week once again. Retail and end users are loving the prices. I am sure producers would like to see the market somewhat higher but they just had a record year!

Butter:

Butter rose .06 since last Thursday on moderate trading at the CME.

Cheese:

I think we finally hit bottom on the block. (hopefully the market will not make me into a liar)!

Barrels have dropped in a big way and now are within .02 of the block. There was heavy trading on both as you can see above. These are the lowest markets since right after the beginning of the pandemic. Hopefully this presents some buying opportunities for all of us!
