Dave’s Weekly Market Update for 10/31/25
Valuable insights on the latest market price changes for eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.
Eggs:
The egg market is continuing to rise and getting more aggressive. We have heard rumors of some HPAI (bird flu) but have not gotten confirmation of that as of now. We have seen some increases on some of the Newberg egg products,30 lb whole frozen and the frozen egg whites.
Butter:
In a quiet week with only 6 loads trading butter has crept up slightly. We are not reflecting this in your pricing. Below are today’s trades and you can see that people are bidding it up slightly higher so we may be beginning to see the market recover and begin to rise slightly. I do not expect and big jumps, But I must add that I never expected the huge drops that we saw.
Cheese:
Blocks rose again this week as the holiday season approaches, helping ramp up demand.
Cream and Cream Cheese:
Cream cheese continued declining this week and we lowered prices again. Cream is dropping for the month, and the Sommer Maid creams are an incredible deal for next week! The other cream products will decline at the end of next week.
