Each week Honor Foods Dairy Specialist David Albert provides you with Dave’s Weekly Market Update, with some valuable insights on the most current market price changes on eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.

Eggs:

Once again the egg market has remained stable. Even with the additional features in retail there still are too many eggs. I have heard some talk that eggs may drop even more!  Hopefully producers saved some of their extra profits as they are not making any money at these markets. We are getting more aggressive on the white eggs tomorrow so please look at our pricing again!. 

Butter:

Butter bounced around this week and ended up closing at the same level as last week. 10 loads traded at the CME this week. 

Cheese:

Blocks are at their lowest levels since the pandemic. There were  a lot of loads traded this week and the market still drifted lower. Barrels dropped a bit also. We have been lagging behind on Hilldale and this week are forced to go up based on replacement costs.

I sent out all the info on these yesterday. Do you have a market for these? Only $1.20 per 8 oz bar! This is a great retail item at a rocking price!
