Dave’s Weekly Market Update – April 1, 2021

Good afternoon,

Eggs:
The egg market is aggressively dropping this week and probably more to come.

Butter:
Butter has been rising steadily and futures do not show any weakness in the coming months.

Cheese:
Both Block and Barrel have risen as the week goes on. US dairy prices are way cheaper than the rest of the world and restrictions are being lifted in stages around the country. These factors I believe are what is driving these markets at the moment.

Cream:
Due to the steady rise in butter, cream is jumping up in price for April. This is the 1st increase in quite a while and the way butter is rising, I expect more to come in May.

I and all the Honor team want to thank you for your continued business and support. We wish you a safe and relaxing Spring weekend.
