Dave’s Weekly Market Update – November 30, 2020

Happy and safe Thanksgiving to all of you and your families.

Eggs:
Now that the baking season has wound down there is a weakness in the egg market. White eggs dropped -.08 this week and I would expect more of the same next week.

Butter:
Butter dropped a bit this week also. It was down more but jumped back up .05 today. 73 loads traded hands this week. 44 of them today. Maybe we found the bottom but time shall tell.

Cheese:

Both Block and Barrel have somewhat stabilized this week. This is not the best time to make one’s living being a REDI in dairy. What goes up, must come down and boy did it. Hopefully, by the end of next week, the bleeding will stop and we can get back on track.

Have a safe and wonderful time with family and please be safe!
