Dave’s Weekly Market Update for 06/20/25
Valuable insights on the latest market price changes for eggs, butter, cheese, and cream products.
Eggs:
The market went up slightly again this week. It is nice to see moderation in this market. Processed eggs seem to be dropping some as the baking seems to be slowing down. I am expecting to lower some Newberg egg prices next week, but I have not seen the changes yet. There will be a decrease from Michael Foods for early July.
Butter:
Butter dropped slightly this week, with only 12 loads changing hands. Quite the change from last week, with well over 100 loads. I believe that was a record week.
Cheese:
Both Blocks and Barrel came down this week. We are dropping prices and unless it turns around, it will drop more next week. Hilldale is also dropping next week.
Do you use shredded CV Cooper? We have some we want to move out!
Cream:
As I mentioned last week cream will be increasing for July. This is the 1st increase in a long time! Cream cheese remained stable for the next week.
