Since 2009, Honor Foods has operated two (2) warehouses to service broadline and specialty foodservice distributors throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US. The Springfield, MA location was largely a refrigerated facility with a large Dairy business. The Philadelphia, PA location was a multi-temp facility with a large frozen business. Through the years we became very good at moving product between the two locations to offer our customers a broad portfolio of products. That said, operational inefficiencies existed that limited our purchasing capabilities and complicated service to our customers. This past January, Honor Philadelphia moved into a new and substantially larger warehouse that will now afford us the opportunity to address both these issues.

Effective Tuesday, June l, 2021, Honor Foods will operate exclusively out of the new Philadelphia facility. While we will continue to operate the Springfield facility through May, we will immediately begin the process of consolidating deliveries, invoicing, and credit terms for customers who were being serviced by both locations. The Honor Sales team will coordinate this consolidation with each customer – allowing adequate lead time to affect a smooth transition. Customers who have picked-up from the Springfield location will explore delivered and/or Philadelphia pick-up options with their Honor Sales representative.

We’re confident that this simpler business model will improve our operation while yielding improved service to our customers in the form of product availability, product pricing, order fulfillment, and invoice accuracy. And, we’re excited to have this new business model in place as we all begin the process of recovering from an extremely challenging year within the foodservice industry.
